Baslow, with it’s triple-arched river bridge, is a thriving and friendly community, and is a great base for exploring the Peak District’s many attractions. It is perfectly located, just north of the magnificent Chatsworth House and spectacular gardens, and is conveniently situated for Haddon Hall or Bakewell’s shops and lively Monday market. A little bit further afield are the popular spa towns of Buxton and Matlock Bath. If you're feeling more energetic and want to explore the hills and valleys, or jump on your mountain bike and tackle single tracks, there is something for everyone.
